Snowflake Flurry Clownfish (Amphiprion ocellaris)
The Snowflake Flurry Clownfish is a beautiful designer variety of the Ocellaris Clownfish, prized for its bright orange coloration and irregular, frosty white patterning that resembles swirling snow. Each fish has a unique pattern, making every individual distinct and eye-catching. Peaceful and hardy, the Snowflake Flurry adds charm and personality to both reef and community aquariums.
Size: Typically grows up to 3 inches in length
Country of Origin: Captive-bred variant – derived from wild Ocellaris Clownfish native to the Indo-Pacific region
Latin Name: Amphiprion ocellaris
Care Level: Easy – ideal for aquarists of all experience levels; thrives in stable, well-maintained aquariums with live rock and moderate water flow
Snowflake Flurry Clownfish are omnivores and readily accept a variety of foods, including high-quality pellets, marine flakes, mysis shrimp, and finely chopped seafood. They are reef safe, peacefully coexisting with corals and invertebrates. When paired with a suitable host anemone, such as a Bubble Tip Anemone (Entacmaea quadricolor), they display their natural symbiotic behaviors and vibrant coloration even more vividly.
