Neon Wrasse (Paracheilinus spp.)
The Neon Wrasse is a small, brightly colored reef fish, renowned for its vibrant electric blue body, striking red or orange markings, and dazzling fin coloration. Males are especially vivid and display dynamic “flashing” behaviors to attract attention, while females are slightly more subdued. Highly active and energetic, Neon Wrasses add constant movement and brilliant color to midwater zones of reef aquariums.

Neon Wrasses are carnivores that feed on small crustaceans and zooplankton. In captivity, they readily accept mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and finely chopped meaty marine foods. They are reef safe, generally coexisting peacefully with corals and invertebrates, making them a vibrant and lively addition to community reef tanks.
