Country of Origin: Indo-Pacific region, including Indonesia, the Philippines, and northern Australia
Latin Name: Neoglyphidodon oxyodon

Neon Velvet Damselfish are omnivores that feed on algae, plankton, and small meaty foods. In captivity, they readily accept marine flakes, pellets, mysis shrimp, and other prepared foods. While reef safe, they can become territorial, especially as they mature, so it’s best to house them with other semi-aggressive or similarly sized tankmates in larger aquariums.
