Melanarus Wrasses are carnivores that feed on small crustaceans, worms, and other meaty marine foods. In captivity, they readily accept mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and finely chopped seafood. They are reef safe with caution, as they may disturb sand-dwelling invertebrates but generally coexist peacefully with corals and larger tankmates.
